Master B and I had a very busy day today and as the title suggests I am so tired.
We had some visiters today; a girl who went to antenatal clas with me and her gorgeous little man. The two boys who have seen each other regularly since about 2 months old get so excited to see each other now hey start squeeling and flapping their arms. They are so cute together!
So the boys had a play in B's play pen with the new plastic fruit and vegetables that I bought him yesterday, the plastic banana seemed to be the favourite toy of the day. (It must of been good to chew on for their teeth) They then both had a sleep and then watched some Baby Einstein. (I love Baby Einstein dvd's they are educational and easily relate back to the real word and B is entranced by them)
The boys playing in B's playpen.
We then went outside and had a play in the clam shell pools under the umbrella. The dogs even joined in, mostly drinking the pool water but still.
After our visitors left B and I went to the park and had his first ever swing. He was more interested in looking at the ground moving below him than the actual swinging but still seemed to have fun, but by the time I got around to taking photos he had already had enough so doesn't look too impressed.
B having his first turn on the swing. Much more interested in the ground then the swinging..
Then once we got home we went through normal late afternoon/bed time things - dinner, shower, quiet play, stories, boobie and bed.
Now I am procrastinating cleaning before I join my little buddy in bed. I have another busy day tomorrow with scrapbooking class in the morning, cleaning the yard in preperation for the cyclone that is expected and cleaning the baby room for my father and step mum to sleep in tomorrow night and then picking them up from the airport tomorrow night. So I best be off...

It's late and time for bed, but to keep up with the post a day that I have been doing I thought I would make a quick post of some upcoming blog ideas

- My Place and Yours - A day in the life of..
These are just a few of the ideas I have for upcoming posts. Probably there will be a lot of venting that will be fitted in between.. But for now I am off to snuggle with my 2 favourite boys!!

Australia Day
Today was Australia Day and we celebrated by going to the local swimming pool. We have been a few times now and it's quite nice and well set up for kids, I can see us spending much more time there as B grows up. We also had a quiet barbeque at home and then chilled in the aircon and watched movies.
After becoming completely obsessed with the Super Organiser Mum Blog I have been making an effort to try and keep the house a little bit more organised and trying to keep on top of the cleaning ( a little each day so that it doesnt seem so daunting) having an 8 month old crawling around my floors need to be pretty clean..
B playing in the water. He loves the water!!
It is working so far, although will probaly work better once we have finished unpacking from moving. There isn't much left to do really mostly just unpacking the books and then getting rid of all the empty boxes and rubbish associated with moving.
I can't wait till it is all done, I never want to move again. However since we rent not moving isn't really an option, but hopefully we can stay in the house we are in untill it is time to buy.
I am going to a scrapbooking/card making workshop on the weekend and it will only be the second time that I have left B alone since he was born. I will be leaving some very explicit instructions and a large supply of milk at home for daddy but have my doubts as to how long they will last before I get a phone call to come home.

Project 365
I have decided to try and complete Project 365 this year. Basically the idea is to take a picture a day for a whole year. For some more info click here.
I love little chubby bubby feet <3 this will make the album for sure
I only stumbled across the idea half way through January so was already off to a shakey start but after much searching and annoying several family members (for photos off their phones with the date they took them etc.) I now have a photo of my little man for everyday this year! (So far.. don't expect to hear the same thing in 6 months time.)
So I am hoping to complete two variations of the project (keen I know since I'm not sure I will even complete 1). The first is on my facebook profile, where I have been uploading a photo a day of my little man so that I will end up with 365 photos of him. I liek this idea as babys grow so fast and change so much when they are little that you will be almost able to see him change and grow.
The second is a scrapbooking version. Now it will be a little different and wont be just photos of bub. I would like it to be a little more family orientated. So photos of the house, me and hubby, the pets places we go frequently, people who are important to us- so other family member and close friends. I'm not entirely sure of the layout or design of the album yet but am hoping to get started this weekend at a scrapbook workshop I am attending with my grandmother.
The whole idea seems quite daunting at the moment but so lonag as I do a little bit regularly ( daily for the facebook profile and maybe fortnightly journalling and monthly scraping) I should be able to keep on top of it. And in 20 years time it will provide a great memory for me and my family of the year 2011.

Where did I go?
Where did I go? 2 blog posts in and then.. nothing!
Truthfully I didn't go anywhere, nothing drastic happened to prevent me from blogging, I wasn't murdered or kidnapped and I still had access to a computer and the internet.
So what happened?
I think I just got carried away in the everyday stuff. Looking after bub, cleaning, the laundry (Oh how I hate the laundry!) cooking dinner etc..
We did move house which explains some of it. But really there is now excuse so I am going to try and keep updated from now on, having recently discovered Beyond the Baby - Super Organiser Mum blog i am inspired to continue on.
I have started reading from the start as I don't like the typical style of blogs where you have to read from the present back.. It's kind of like reading the last chapter of a book first and knowing where it is going before you know the how, it spoils the adventure.
I really love that as a mum she has the blog as a memory of the everyday things, the things that were important in her family's life and the things that were important to her, the activities they have done as a family and a written form of some of their plans, hopes and dreams for the future. I hope that one day I can say the same things about this blog.
My Little Man, enjoying his first trip to the beach.
For now though it is late and my washing machine is incessantly beeping at me to tell me that the current load is finished.. (Did I mention I really hate laundry!!)
Night All
