So I have always thought my little man was extra cute, but who doesn't think there babies are just the cutest thing they have ever seen?
Today my little man got to show they world some of his cuteness (well the photographer at least). He was photgraphed for an ad for Baby Beehinds (click here for more info). They are a local company that sells MCN's (Modern Cloth Nappies).
He got his photo taken in two different nappies which we then got to keep for doing the photos. They are so good comared to the existing nappies I have in my stash. Admittedly the only other mcn's that I have are the cheapies that come from china that I ordered off ebay.
I haven't washed them yet (it rained all afternoon) but I can't wait to try them out!! One of our good friends uses them and only has good things to say. Check out her blog here.

Thanks
Some things I am thankful for -
-Master B, He makes everyday an adventure. No two days are exactly the same and it seems that almost everyday he is learning a new trick or growing in some way. As much effort as he can be at times, he is worth every little bit and then some. When he smiles it makes my day. My little man is just precious! He is my world.
- My wonderful husband, He puts up with all my crap. My crankyness and bitchyness. He lets me sleep some mornings. He goes to work so that I can stay home with B. And he is happy about it. He supports me in whatever I choose to do. I love him. He is my rock.
-Miss Lea, My beautiful sister. She is alway there. She also puts up with a lot of crap. She is loud anad happy all the time and has way too much energy for me most days. She would do anything for me or B. She is Miss Lea. Love Much Chicken <3
-My Daddy, becauses despite many things/people trying to come between us he is always there for me. He inspires me and encourages me. He is my father and I love him.
-My Grandma, she was one of the most important people in my life growing up. I feel I am the person I am today because of her. I would be lost without her!
-My Family, My Friends, My House, My Animals.
Despite many ups and downs there are always many things to be thankful for. Some big and some small. But there is no point worrying about the things you can't change so spend more time being thankful for the good things!!

Teething Sucks!
As the title might sugest, my poor little biy is teething. Now his first tooth appeared a few days after christmas, I am pretty sure that it was the 29th December but I can't be sure.
Why? Because I didnt' even notice it was there untill he bit me (and oh my gosh did it hurt!!). So apparently it must not have bothered him at all.
Then recently after a high temperature a sooky baby tooth number two appeared on the 13th February.
So when I noticed a third tooth appearing only 6 days later I was a little bit shocked, there was nearly a month and a half between the first two. All this leads up to last night whic resulted in our second trip to the hospital since B was born.
Last night for no apparent reason he just started screaming.. and screaming and screaming. After a dose of panadol and some bonjela he still couldn't be consoled, so after trying all the usual tactics and my poor little man still screaming we decided to take him to the hospital just to make sure it really was just his teeth bothering him.
We put him in the car and strapped him in, and got about 5 minutes away from the hospital and he finally fell asleep. Once we got there and took him in the admissions nurse looked him over and took his obs before telling us we would be in for a long wait.
We sat sown and waited but apart from a little bit of grizzling he seemed mostly fine, so after 2 hours of waiting the nurse checked him again and apart from developing a rash he was fine so we went home.
This morning we woke to find yet another tooth. So no wonder my poor little man was in pain two teeth in two days..
Teething Sucks!! He has not only had high temps, but a runny nose, a rash on his belly, the most ridiculously horrible nappy rash, diorreah and wont eat except boob coz it hurts too much.
My poor little monkey!!

Mind your own business!
Why when I had a baby did my boobs and what I choose to do with them become a matter of public discussion??
My baby is 9 months old and I still get asked whether he is breast fed or bottle fed? I don't see how it is anyone's business but mine and my partners. Do I go around asking what brand of tampons you use? Or what brand of condoms? Or which contraceptive you use? It is your body and therefore your choice. Leave me alone to make mine.
But just so everyone is aware YES I do breast feed my child, and I will continue to do so untill me and my child feel it is the right time to stop, and NO it is none of anyone else's business!!

Oh and might I ask to all those nosey enough to enquire about the way I choose to feed my child, what would the response be if I said I bottle fed? Would you then feel it was your right to give me a lecture? Are you going to be one of the people who gives me dirty looks as my child grows and I continue to choose to breastfeed him in public?
I appreiciate the encouagement from other mothers when the see me feeding, but I don't feel I should have to justify my decision to random strangers who choose to make it their business.

Lazy Days!!
So today I am having a lazy day... My house is a mess still from having to bring everything inside for the cyclone, I have a mamoth mountain of washing that needs doing from being away and all the rain we have been getting lately, a stack of bills sitting beside the computer waiting to be paid and a child who has decided today is the day he wants to turn into a sook as soon as mummy stands up to leave the room.
So we are just going to sit on the couch, snuggle up and watch baby einstein, playschool and other morning television cartoons. Then this afternoon we are off to Lollypops Playland. We have never been there before but I have been told B will enjoy it so we are quite excited to go and check it out.
I have been trying to put a picture in each of my blog posts but since I haven't put any of the new ones on the computer yet there are none that I want to put up. Hopefully I will get around to that sometime after all of the regular household chores are attended to.
Some of my recent 365 photos have been- a photo of my fridge (shown in the last post), our shower ( at the moment there are foam letters with all of our names up on the wall), a cyclone map (yes i forgot a photo for that day), B playing in our hotel room and the view out our front door (it has changed since the cyclone.. a few less trees and the remaining ones have a few less leaves).

What's on your fridge??
So I am sitting here waiting for some photos to upload to facebook with notshing much else to do so thought now would be a good time to get around to the what's on your fridge? blog.
Now my fridge is pretty boring.. and if I didn't have Master B then there probably wouldn't be anything on it at all.
Like I said pretty boring. I have some invitations to upcoming events and B's Alphabet Phonics Set. We are loving the phonics set at the moment B swill sit there for 15-20mins at a time while I am in the kitchen cooking/cleaning/doing dishes etc..
